I just finished reading the “Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children” series, and decided to draw some concept sketches of a hollowgast. For those of you who haven’t read the books, hollowgasts (or hollows, as they call them sometimes) are monstrous creatures that try throughout the series to eat the peculiars.
I’ve just returned from my trip to Europe, which was really fun. While I’m disappointed that it’s over, I’m also glad to be back at home with my sketchbook. This pegasus was drawn for an event at my library, where I was supposed to draw something based on a constellation. It didn’t take very long, and since I don’t draw horses often, I enjoyed trying something new.
