In case you haven’t noticed already, I’ve kind of given up on Inktober this year. But I’ll try again in 2021!
This was a project I did for school called “shattered value.” We could “shatter” anything we wanted, and I chose a rose as my subject. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but by the end I thought it looked really nice.
Through doing this project, I learned a lot about lighting, values, and shading techniques. Not to mention patience—coloring all of those boxes took FOREVER! But I think my hard work paid off, because the piece turned out very neat and clean (in my opinion, at least).
